The Returned and Services League has some 1500 Sub-Branches throughout Australia and with a membership of 350,000, is one of the largest service and ex-service associations in Australia. Currently there are 270 RSL\u2019s in Victoria. We offer memberships to anyone over the age of 18 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RSL offers three main forms of RSL membership:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Service<\/em> (for those who have served in the Armed Forces)
Affiliate<\/em> (for those related to people eligible for Service Membership)
Social<\/em> (Same benefits as Service and Affiliate members, but the right to vote on RSL matters does not apply)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does it Cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Membership cost is $10 annually for Social, Affiliate and Service memberships.
We also offer a Triennial membership (Three years) for $25.

SOCIAL <\/strong>MEMBERSHIP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any person is eligible to be a Social Member if he or she is not eligible to be a Service or Affiliate Member of the League is between the ages of eighteen [18] years or older. Social membership also gives members reciprocal rights in Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Social Member is not entitled to vote on any matter other than in respect of the election of a Social Member to the Committee of the Sub-Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Social Member on the Committee of a Sub-Branch may vote only on matters relating to the operation of the Sub-Branch Facilities available to Social Members of the Sub-Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SERVICE MEMBERSHIP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Service membership of the RSL is for anyone who is currently serving or has served in the ADF or any Australian allied armed forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
