The RSL Aged and Health Support department provides advice and support to members of the ex-service community, their families and carers.

Our professional staff are experienced in aged care matters and are also able to provide information about many health issues, particularly those related to the ex-service community. We are able to provide individuals, family members and the broader community with information and advice.

Pensions

The Darebin RSL has a welfare Officer who is available to assist members with any welfare problems.
Any member requiring assistance can please contact the office on 9484 4353 where arrangements will be made for the welfare officer to contact you. Your enquiries are strictly confidential.

Funerals

Any Service, Affiliate Members or Women’s Auxiliary Members are entitled to an RSL Funeral Service provide the family of deceased has requested a service.
This request can be made with the Funeral Director who will contact us or the family may contact us direct.
Any person requiring about a Funeral service please contact the Office on 9484 4353 where arrangements will be made for a Funeral Officer to contact the family.

Visitations – Home and Hospitals

The Darebin RSL assists Members who would like someone to visit them at Hospital, Nursing Home and/or Home. They are also available to transport Members to the Doctors appointments, Out Patients appointments as well as assisting them to Chemists, Shopping Centres if there is no other transport available to them.

Any person requiring assistance please contact the Office on 9484 4353 where arrangements will be made for a Hospital and Home Visitation Officer to contact you.
